The sixth symbol of the Amharic alphabet is called RÏS and its pronunciation is like a letter R. The printed letter looks to me like a drawing of the profile of a nose :). The handwritten letter looks more like a uppercase L but with the angle rounded. It’s the only R in Feedel.
