We spent 4th of July in Ashford; we had a great long weekend in the mountains. It was a bit hot in the sun, but in the forest it was nice and cool under the big trees.
We went to the Nisqually river so the children could play in the water that it wasn’t that cold considering is coming from the snow melting on top on the mountains.
We crossed streams, played in the river sand, and threw rocks into the river. And then we made a wood fire to cook some burgers and eat marshmallows, and of course at night we lit fireworks that Feromsa and Dylan specially loved.
